Aaron Rodgers is calling out media over lie about Packers

Aaron Rodgers was passionate about denying rumors from 2019 about an alleged conversation between him and Packers president Mark Murphy.

If there’s anything we’ve learned this summer, it’s that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had no issues speaking his mind publicly. Time and time again, Rodgers has been completely open on what’s been going on in Green Bay.

Now, Rodgers has decided to squash some rumors from 2019. Previously, it had been reported that Packers president Mark Murphy told Rodgers ‘don’t be the problem’ after the team hired Matt LaFleur to be the new head coach. That was a bunch of crap, Rodgers said.

Aaron Rodgers cleared up the air about a conversation he allegedly had with Mark Murphy

You know Rodgers is annoyed when he drops an expletive like this. Per Rodgers, the conversation between him and Murphy never even took place. Yet, countless headlines were made and it seemed like tensions were high between Green Bay and Rodgers back then.

As we all know, things nearly reached a boiling point this offseason, though, with Rodgers flirting with the idea of potentially sitting out for the season or retiring from the game. Luckily for Packers fans, Rodgers is back in the saddle and ready to lead the team out onto the field this weekend against the New Orleans Saints.

While he may have had beef with the front office in the past, he’s focused on having a big-time season with Green Bay this fall and winter.
