Jalen Ramsey didn’t take kindly to Davante Adams landing the first punch in their NFC Divisional showdown.
It didn’t take long for sparks to fly in the battle between Davante Adams and Jalen Ramsey. Arguably the two best players at their position going head-to-head in a playoff game is the type of treat we don’t get to indulge in often, but when it happens it’s delicious.
Adams vs. Ramsey has so far not disappointed.
Before the game, Ramsey needed to be walked away from Adams after strolling over to the Packers receiver and talking a hefty amount of trash.
But once the game started, Adams did his talking on the field. On the Packers second drive of the game, Adams landed the first true blow of the fight when he beat Ramsey for a short touchdown pass.
Ramsey’s reaction was icing on the cake for Packers fans hoping their guy gets the upper hand.

Before Adams was even ruled to have scored, Ramsey visibly showed his frustration. Meanwhile, Adams cooly soaked the moment in and quietly celebrated.
The showdown isn’t as heated as some of the other receiver-cornerback matchups we’ve seen over the years featuring two superstars. All week long, Adams and Ramsey avoided offering up any bulletin board material and were largely complimentary of each other’s skills.
There’s a mutual respect between Adams and Ramsey, one that doesn’t seem like they type of sweet nothing pleasantries we hear. But that doesn’t mean that each man wants to emerge as the better player in their matchup, and history shows that Ramsey is the more volatile of the two.
Watching him flip out after losing the first battle in his war with Adams is all the contrast you need.
