Patrick Mahomes was mic’d up for the Chiefs game vs. the Jets and the video of it is something fans will absolutely love.
As each day passes, it just seems like Kansas City Chiefs fans have one million more reasons to love Patrick Mahomes. The superstar quarterback is in the middle of another incredible season and has the team at the top of the AFC West standings with a 7-1 record.
Thanks to his incredible personality, Mahomes and his teammates feel on top of the world right now. That much was made clear after the dominant win over the New York Jets last Sunday. Mahomes was actually mic’d up for the monster victory, which Chiefs fans are most definitely going to want to see for themselves.
Patrick Mahomes put on a show against the Jets and finished with five touchdowns
From start to finish, Mahomes was fired up. It’s easy to understand why, especially after Kansas City cleaned New York’s clock in the 35-9 Week 8 victory. In that tilt, Mahomes was nothing short of brilliant, throwing for 416 yards and five touchdowns. Those are the kinds of numbers that surely brought a huge smile to the faces of people who have him in fantasy football.
On the year, the reigning Super Bowl MVP has thrown for 2,315 yards, 24 touchdowns and only one interception. With the way Mahomes is playing, Kansas City once again looks like a serious contender to take home the Lombardi Trophy this February.
Kansas City will take on the Panthers this weekend, looking to improve their record this campaign to 8-1. Good luck to the Carolina defense trying to slow down Mahomes and this offense. No one has had much luck doing that this season.
